When the project began, the body was sanded down to bare metal, several coats of epoxy primer were used prior to painting, then followed by several clear coats.
The overall body was in good shape, with the exception of a rust spot in the passenger door, this was professionally repaired with sheet metal and the edges sanded smooth prior to painting (invisible now).
*Since that time, salty beach air has caused some minor rusting in some areas, primarily surface rust that's easily addressed.
No holes or pitting are visible.
