REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years Early Childhood experience
North Carolina Early Childhood Certification (EDU 119) preferred.
Physical ability (able to exert up to 30 pounds of force) and dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job
Ability to fulfill all North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (NCDCDEE) requirements to work in a licensed child care program

SALARY
Annual Salary - $29,000 - $32,000
*Based on education and experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement STREAMin3 Curriculum along with activities that support the whole child
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children
Be positive, approachable, and professional in interactions with parents/guardians, staff, students, and community members
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all student information
Communicate effectively with families about their child’s development
Respect families’ beliefs and values
Willingness to attend professional development opportunities
Be open and flexible to all other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Director and/or Assistant Director
Collaborate and work well with teachers, staff, and board members
Communicate with the Director ensuring all parties; students, caregivers/guardians, teachers have support where needed
ALL SPARK ACADEMY TEACHERS:
Work collaboratively to create an environment that inspires young children to be curious and enhance their love of learning
Implement routines and activities that engage children and positively impact their overall development
Honor the individual skills, needs, and interests of each child to allow for successful growth
through hands-on and play-based learning
Model positive emotional skills that help children be confident while navigating through everyday social-emotional occurrences and experiences
Gracefully demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, seamlessly blending warmth and nurturing care even in the midst of bustling activity
