LinQuest is seeking a Senior Capability Development Analyst (SUXS, CUSX) to join our team at Camp Lejeune, NC.
An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
LinQuest is searching for an on-site resource at MARSOC, Camp Lejeune, NC, to support the Mobility Capability Development Team within the G-83 Current Requirements Division.
This activity includes concept development, requirements documentation, subject matter expert support, and market research in support of MARSOC Mobility/Unmanned Systems future capability requirements.
This position will research and apply orders, directives, and policies applicable to capability development, acquisitions, and procurement in support of MARSOC objectives; provide training and guidance to, and assist MARSOC personnel outside the G-8 in capability development efforts; provide technical expertise and operational perspective for new capabilities and integration efforts relevant to MARSOC objectives; provide support to technology scouting and test and evaluation activities; communicate with various program offices, program executive offices, product line managers, and others, at USSOCOM, HQMC, and other government agencies as required; attend conferences, integrated product teams (IPT) meetings, program management reviews, capability development events, and unit contact meetings as required; provide support to the Requirements Officer in capability development efforts involving original equipment manufacturers (OEM), academia, national laboratories, other government agencies, and other organizations and agencies as required; provide Support to MARSOC Strategic Planning and Development for Technology Programs and Activities.
As the un-manned systems and counter un-manned systems expert the selected individual will familiarize and advise MARSOC senior leaders on current Mobility and Small Unmanned Systems (SUXS) program of record equipment and capability development efforts, assist the G8 in developing, implementing, and resolving capability development efforts across the range of Mobility and SUXS capabilities, and evaluate and critique existing policies, procedures and doctrine affecting employment of mobility and small unmanned systems in support of military operations.
Required Capabilities: 10 years combined operational experience with MARSOC systems, processes and related capabilities; any combination of the following may be included: SOF Team/Company or equivalent level experience operating with a SOF component element in tactical training/operations; experience planning tactical operations including movement/insertion/extraction plans for operations in training/combat scenarios.
Secret Clearance (TS preferred) Desired Capabilities: Experience in a capability development related field in offices such as USSOCOM SOF AT&L, USMC CD&I or MCSC, NSW, MARSOC G-8, USASOC, AFSOC Capability Development Directorates, DIA, or similar.
Experience working with SUAS platforms such as PUMA, WASP, SKY RANGER, SKY RAIDER, STALKER etc.
