Duties
What to Expect
Responsible for designing format and layout, creating professional signs, banners, certificates, photos, T-shirt designs, designs for engravings, and decorative artwork, using desktop publishing computer design programs, to increase sales and promote business growth.
Plans and executes the development of graphic designs, layouts and exhibits in coordination with the presentation of printed and/or visual media.
Responsible for operating a computer with design software and design equipment/tools, as well as utilizing common hand tools for measuring and cutting.
Responsible for completing all projects with little or no technical advice.
Utilizes a sublimation imprinter, graphics heat belt dryer, screen presses, printer/plotter, and manual graphic arts equipment/tools such as knives, power stapler, pressure washers, dye gun and measuring tools.
This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 45lbs independently and over 45lbs with assistance may be required.
Collects payment and completes daily financial paperwork utilizing a point-of-sale system following established cash handling procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Must have three years of experience that demonstrates knowledge and application of graphic design and layout, printing procedures, and desktop publishing utilizing, but not limiting to; Corel Draw 14, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
Knowledge of PC platform preferred.
A high degree of proficiency and strict attention to detail is required.
Must be well versed in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
