Tidewater Transit- a leader in the bulk transport industry is seeking a CDL Mechanic - Kinston, NC.
Mechanics are responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair various equipment components that have failed or are malfunctioning.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of company equipment.
- Safely operates all tools, machinery, and equipment and follows established safety procedures to perform all shop functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Related experience or training in a transportation environment, at least 5 years preferrable.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Available to work irregular hours and respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
