Family Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner Basic Funtion: The Family Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to clinic patients utilizing professional skills in providing diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems along with preventative care focused on health risk factor reduction within the scope of licensing, training, and privileging/ credentialing.
Provides care consistent with medical best practices and the policies/procedures/protocols of the Agency.
- Outpatient only - No on Call - Weekends off - Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm We are seeking a skilled Family Nurse Practicioner to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing comprehensive primary care services, with a focus on patient-centered care.

-PA: Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practicioner program with a current and valid North Carolina State License.
-Valid DEA number -CPR certified (BLS/ACLS) -Possess a valid driver's license -Ability to read, write and speak clearly understandable english -Good interpersonal and human relation skills required.
Must possess skills to empathize a and care for a variety of patients, incuding social-economical and diverse cultures and treat everyone (internal and external customers) with repsect and dignity.
-Ability to always maintain confidentiality in all situation and follow the laws and intent of the most current HIPPA laws and regulations and Canyonlands' security and privacy policies.
-Above average computer skills to operate and/ or learn current EMR/EHR system -Above average ability to quickly analyze, comprehend, and create written/ verbal medical and business communication and documentation.
