Coating/Laminating Machine Operator
Reports to: Plant Manager
General Purpose:
Perform a variety of standard operating procedures to set up and operate a coating machine and to coat / laminate different substrates to customer requirements (Zero Defects).
Qualifications:
Requires use of judgmental skills to plan and perform diversified work within prescribed limitations as to quality and tolerance.
Requires skill in fractions with regard to measurement.
Requires strength to lift and move over 50-70 lbs.
Trained under Title 40: Protection of Environment (265.
16 Personnel Training)
General Responsibilities:
Housekeeping Organize and clean your area.
Through out the day clean other areas in plant and all common areas (break-room/restroom)
Scheduling Preparation and knowledge of next run in a timely fashion (Keep material moving)
Paperwork Understanding of work schedules, computer data entry, labels, work orders.
Etc…
Material Supplies Use of supplies up to customer standards (i.
e.
Type of splice/skid/core, etc.
) Notify management when supplies are low.
Inspection Perform visual inspection of roll(s) in and out ensuring they meet customer requirements.
Quality & Quantity Proper procedures in set-up(i.
e.
fife-guide alignment, shields, proper cores, and run machine a max optimal speed.
Production Equipment Knowledge of equipment, controls and supplies on hand such as: belly cart, pump cart, pallet jack, and hoist, etc…
Safety Compliance to company safety rules.
NO SMOKING! No open solvents.

Tools Required Watch, Allen Keys, Tape Measure (16th’s), Box Cutter, Rubber Mallet, Wrench Set (1/4 – 1 1/2 in)
