Benefits Eligible: Yes Location: Cherry Point - Havelock, North Carolina Job Summary: ASCI Federal Services is currently seeking applicants to be considered for a Project Manager role.
The Project Manager oversees the effective and efficient administration and management for Transportation Support Services (TSS) as required by the Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE).
Supporting the following transportation activities: • Administrative Services • Delivery/Tractor Trailer Services • Dispatch Services Equipment Maintenance • Flight Line Services • Forklift Services • Mule Services • Mule Train Services • Special Transportation Services Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Provides administrative and technical direction for developing program budgets, defining staffing requirements, and streamlining all business and logistical operations.
• Conducts local reviews of programs and operations to ensure compliance with governing directives and prescribed fiduciary standards.
• Develops strategic plans within the framework of available funds, manpower, facilities, equipment, supplies, and existing services.
• Continuously evaluates management procedures and departmental programs by analysis of financial plans and projections, audits, inspections, reports, and by personal visits to other activities under the Department of Defense (DOD), or commercially operated components.
• Directly supervises assigned staff.
• Conducts annual performance reviews of staff.
• Ensures staff receive proper training to fulfill the requirements of their positions.
• Addresses potential disciplinary and/or performance issues timely and takes appropriate, corrective action(s) as necessary.
• Negotiate differing courses of action between project or program stakeholders to resolve incompatibilities.
• Collaborate with personnel (e.
g.
, senior leaders, stakeholders) to complete the objectives of the program.
• Develop plans and schedules to guide supervisors in meeting program goals, objectives, and priorities.
• Address program problems and issues by applying the techniques of process identification and continuous process improvement.
• Deliver oral presentations to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, or convey information about proposed program changes.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • At least five years of experience demonstrating project management, particularly in the context of fleet readiness.
• Familiar with Military Programs and/or Military traditions and customs.
• Maintain a valid State Driver’s License • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must meet government requirements to gain access to military installations and systems.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to perform Non-Critical Sensitive work • Required to have a favorable adjudicated Tier-3 investigation from the Office of Personnel Management ASCI Federal is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
