Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $21.
25 to $31.
50 (depending on experience)

All equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance are the responsibility of the Mechanic.
One of the department's specialized responsibilities is the repair and preventative maintenance of thermoforming machines and other auxiliary equipment.
All electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment falls under this category.
**Responsibilities:**
Perform all preventative maintenance on machinery and auxiliary equipment as specified by the manager.
As needed, all machine parts should be rebuilt and installed.
New equipment preparation, setup, and installation are all duties that must be accomplished.
Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in functioning order during his or her shift.
Plans and sketches for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems must be read and understood.
It is necessary to be able to read and use the following tools: ruler, micrometer, calipers, and other hand tools.
All of these labor tools are used in the repair and maintenance of vehicles.
Ability to read and comprehend machinery repair manuals is required.
Create designs, construct, weld, and torch-burn as needed.
A basic understanding of lathes and milling machines is essential.
This will be required for some machine and equipment maintenance.
Make sure that proper lock-out / tag-out procedures are followed when working on machines or equipment.
Maintain a safe working environment by keeping the work area clean and well-organized at all times.
You must have a wide mechanical understanding of all areas of manufacturing operations and equipment to ensure that operations run efficiently and smoothly.
**Qualifications:**
Must have at least 5 years of maintenance experience, ideally in manufacturing.
Must be able to read (blueprints) and apply what they've learned, as well as perform math operations.
