Penmarc Inspired Spaces, LLC is currently seeking a Independent Subcontractors to install various types of cabinetries for residential and commercial clients.
Penmarc Inspired Spaces, LLC is a premier service provider for providing installation of custom-designed spaces that inspire organized lifestyles.
Working with products chosen by the customer, our team of professional installers brings the project to life by creating spaces that will leave clients refreshed and excited.
What you will be doing! As an Independent (1099) Cabinet Installer, you will sign a mutually acceptable Master Service Agreement (MSA).
Once we establish the MSA, you will receive a job specific proposal for each job for your consideration.
Jobs consist of installing of any number of systems to include: Production measures of spaces, demolition of current cabinetry, sheetrock repair, painting and installing prefabricated cabinetry.
You are responsible for on-site client satisfaction through project completion.
You are bringing the highest level of professionalism and quality of work to every installation you undertake.
Responsible for alerting the Penmarc Management, the client and/or scheduling teams to issues in the field and strategize to eliminate these issues on future jobs.
Track your progress and maintain excellence in your workmanship and customer service.
Be a team player to get the job done right! Independent Sub-Contractors (1099) Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of trim carpentry/cabinetry installation experience is preferred.
General liability insurance (minimum $1M policy).
Commercial auto insurance policy (minimum $500K policy).
EPA RRP Certified (Lead Safe Work Practices Training).
We can assist in obtaining certification if necessary.
Contractor Licensing (State, County and City) required where applicable.
Access to a smart phone and/or tablet, as well as a computer with an internet connection.
Reliable vehicle, trailer, or some way to transport product to job sites as needed.
Must provide own tools and supplies- IE: trim carpentry/closet installation tools.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all interactions with clientele and maintain excellent service through completion.
Continuously monitor your progress to optimize the efficiency of your day and installations.
Be able to problem-solve issues arising in the field to help complete your task promptly.
Interact positively and immediately with scheduling to keep abreast of progress.
Maintain your tools and work environment safely and cleanly minimizing disturbance to other areas.
Respect the environments you will be working in as they are your own.
Essential Duties and Requirements Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Install any numerous components for cabinetry, millwork; some painting and sheetrock repair as directed or required in the field.
Must be able to lift 75 Lbs.
Renovate or Repair as the project requires.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all interactions with clientele and maintain excellent service through completion.
Continuously monitor your progress to optimize the efficiency of your day and installations.
Problem-solve issues arising in the field to help complete your task promptly, Interact positively and immediately with scheduling to keep abreast of progress.
Maintain your tools and work environment safely and cleanly minimizing disturbance to other areas.
Respect the environments you will be working in as they are your own.
Be willing to travel to nearby cities to start new projects.
Experience and Training 5 years of construction experience preferred.
Experience in some area of carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, interior trim, remodels, renovations, shelving or closet organizers is required.
Ability to obtain the RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Paint) Lead Renovator Certification within one month of hire.
Knowledge of General Safety Practices or OSHA training preferred.
Ability to use hand tools, reciprocating and miter saws, and power tools correctly and safely.
Knowledge of general construction practices and details Ability to prioritize and organize effectively with a keen sense to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment to make decisions and solve problems Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks Ability to use applications on a cell phone Ability to read layouts from custom designs or blueprints Knowledge of basic mathematics.
